Kristeli is a seasoned clinician who  has worked with people of all ages and with a variety of experiences, but specializes in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, relationship issues, and with those who have endured trauma. Kristeli received her Masters Degree from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

As a clinician, Kristeli believes that the human mind has the great ability to change and adapt throughout an individual's life. As a therapist, it is her passion to help facilitate positive change in the minds and lives of those that she works with. Kristeli knows that each of us has the desire to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life and she believes that we have the inherent ability to know and do what is best for us.  It brings her great joy to see her clients move towards reaching their full potential.

Together with her clients, Kristeli explores the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that might be causing negative symptoms and she helps her clients take steps that allow them to create the lives that they want. Whether it is through discovering how one's past has shaped them, learning how these experiences might be affecting them today, and/or through finding practical solutions to more pressing issues.

Kristeli would be delighted to hear from you!

Madeline Rosenfeld, LCSW

Madeline is a seasoned clinician who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and behavioral  issues. Madeline received her Masters Degree from The New York University Silver School of Social Work.

Madeline understands that it is normal to feel overwhelmed when trying to manage the expectations we set for ourselves and that others set for us. Given the busy nature of our lives, there is little time to process what these expectations mean to us and why they can cause us distress. Madeline believes that therapy can give space for life to slow down, to limit distractions, and to keep the judgments of others out. By engaging in the therapeutic process, Madeline helps clients gain an understanding of their values and how they inform their behavior and emotional well-being.

Madeline tailors the therapeutic treatment to the individual based on their own life experiences. She creates an open dialogue that fosters a trusting therapeutic relationship. Madeline has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families who have experienced a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and trauma.

When life gets challenging, Madeline is here at MEC Psychotherapy to support her clients in understanding how their life experiences have driven their feelings and behavior. Feeling overwhelmed does not need to be permanent - together, with her clients, Madeline establishes comfort in setting healthy expectations while managing life's obstacles throughout the process.

Sarah is an experienced clinician who specializes in treating individuals who suffer from anxiety as well as individuals who have experienced domestic violence after having received her Masters Degree from Columbia University's School of Social Work. Prior to joining MEC Psychotherapy, Sarah worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health clinics as well as hospitals.

As a therapist, Sarah views each client through a holistic lens. When working with clients, Sarah ensures that together, her client's story is explored through the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of their environments. Together, Sarah works with her clients to enable them to understand the messages their body is trying to share, allowing them to transition, grow, and heal.

Whatever her client's intentions might be, she is here at MEC Psychotherapy to support them through a challenging, but worthwhile journey that they are not only capable of, but deserving of.

Caroline utilizes a person-centered approach to therapy and tailors her interventions for her clients' individual needs.
